FG1. System Furling gear for dinghies and day boats up to Flying Dutchman size 6 metres (20 feet). Utilising either the single or endless line principle, (10% reductions for multi-hulls). The FG1 gear has stainless steel spindles and ball bearings to enhance working loads. The drum on the bottom swivels is of moulded acetal secured to a body made of a high grade anodised aluminium. Both top and bottom swivels have a plastic insert to prevent sail chafe. They have a breakstain of 900kgs, (2000lb) and a fork spindle on the drum to fit most stemhead fittings
