The perfect egg takes 4 minutes to boil, much like the perfect sail slug!

Holt nylon sail fittings are doused in boiling water for 4 minutes directly after they have been moulded.

Why?

This post moulding treatment makes the product more malleable reducing the brittle properties of the nylon which stays with the product for its' life.

With such attention to detail no wonder our sail fittings are the preferred choice of leading sailmakers.
